- Warranty work is defined as labor performed to correct an issue related to a previous repair by Army Mechanics.
- If a repair fails due to missed diagnosis or improper procedure, corrective labor is covered at a set rate.
- Technicians follow strict diagnostic and repair procedures to minimize warranty incidents.
- Army Mechanics may, at its discretion, refund, repair, or replace defective parts or address labor-related issues.
If a part fails:
- Document the issue: Gather original receipt, repair order, photos, and diagnostics.
- Verify eligibility: Ensure the issue is within the warranty period and not caused by misuse or abuse.
- Submit your claim: Contact Army Mechanics with documentation.
- Review & resolution: Supplier or dealer will assess and, if approved, issue a replacement, repair, or refund.
- Next steps: Army Mechanics will communicate claim status and arrange reinstallation or refund as needed.
All warranty claims will be handled within 48 hours at the original location of repair, unless alternate arrangements are agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Army Mechanics is committed to standing behind our work and resolving any issues related to our repairs. However, warranty coverage is contingent on our ability to inspect and correct the issue ourselves.
If a customer chooses to have a repair performed by another shop before contacting Army Mechanics:
- Warranty coverage is void for that issue.
- We cannot verify the cause, quality, or necessity of the third-party repair and therefore cannot issue a refund or reimbursement.
- Refunds will not be issued for repairs performed elsewhere.
Our warranty is designed to give us the opportunity to inspect, diagnose, and correct any concerns directly.
- Customers must contact Army Mechanics first before seeking outside repairs if they believe an issue is related to our work. We will respond within 48 hours and offer inspection and resolution at our original repair location or another agreed-upon site.
- Exceptions may be made only with prior written approval from Army Mechanics management. Without this approval, third-party repairs are considered outside the scope of our warranty.
This policy ensures fairness, protects the integrity of our work, and allows us to uphold our commitment to quality service.
Storage Fee & Vehicle Lien Notice:
Vehicles must be picked up within 5 calendar days after notification of repair completion. Beginning on the 6th day, a storage fee of $25 per day will be applied until the vehicle is collected.
If a vehicle remains unclaimed for 30 days after completion notice, the shop reserves the right to initiate a mechanic’s lien in accordance with California law. This may result in the sale of the vehicle to recover repair and storage costs.
By authorizing repairs, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
